Holiday week for Infi

It does get tough when one spends lots of evenings on sl to go cold turkey -but after a few shakes - feeling a lil better. RL sometimes does get in the way - but hey it pays for sl - lol! Been getting ready for rl vacation which is coming up next week - Imagine that. Which means late nights in rl - damn! Will defo be back on spinning and enjoying life with y'all! Plan is to spin New Years Day at Velvet - got my set all set up and waiting the last week.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I want to wish all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! It's amazing how friendships develop and are so amazing and wonderful on SL! I love it and I love you all! A special shout out to my best friend Dully! He makes me laugh and love just hanging with the bestest of guys. Another shout out to Therese Slade who has always been there for me in so many ways. And finally a kiss to Gwenny who in a short time has made this guy mmm lots and lots! Love to you!

Back in SL most of the evening and had a great time! Started the evening with Gwenny. Catching up on lost time.
Then to Norvern Monkey with split sets with Therese Slade. Had a blast! Each of us took and hour and let it roll from there. My set was mostly New Wave 80's.
Will have to start blogging set-lists again. It was good evening to back in the fold!

It's holiday time and I decided to show off a little spirit! Got a freebie hat, new sweater (love what it says), and Gwennie gifted me with a holiday belt. Love the eggnog and Jack Daniels (mmmmmm) No Bah Humbugs from Infi :P

It's Thanksgiving Day and I am waiting for a turkey to be cooked - which means I am droolling big time! So decided to got to Christmas town! Wandering lost soul in a sim of merriment - lol Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Haven't blogged in forever - but got inspired! Have been hanging with Gwenny Weston lots and have found a wonderful kindred spirit to spend time with. I smile every time I see her. She is an amazing-beautiful person. We finally had a date the other night and it was wonderful!!! Cant wait for the next one. I am the luckiest guy to have met Gwenny :)

A lazy day of exploration! Nothing to do - but lots to see. SL can be a place to explore beautiful pixel lands and let your mind wander and dance!

So many good friends in sl - Always a blast!

Spent the night last night at Velvet doing my Thursday night set and talking politics. My set was dedicated to Sarah Palin. (jokingly) Great female musicians who I like lots. Disgusted by the recent Republican Convention, I needed to get it washed out of my brain. Palin was nominated simply to unite the party and if McCain is elected I can only hope he makes it 4 years. Palin is a scary Christian Fundamentalist who will turn back the clock in so many ways.
So I played Peaches, Liz Phair, Soko, Emilie Autumn, Regina Spector, Alanis Morrisette, Pink, PJ Harvey, Ima Robot, Dido, Garbage last night. Felt good and loved it!

Just a relaxing night of absolutely doing nothing in SL! I was over at Haley's digging in the sand and ended up crashing for about an hour and a half. Came back and ended the night at Velvet. O so cool!

Such a great vacation week in Virginia! Beach reading, enjoying the sun, running, and beer at night! What could one love about that! Hope to see everyone once I return.

I did a Covers set at Velvet! I love the Velvet. Awesome people with originality. Very diverse group so conversation is always lively!!!!!! Had a blast. I wanted to give a wide variety and think I succeeded.

Velvet is an awesome Club in SL - run by Jasper Haifisch - He is awesome - knows more music in his one finger!!!! People provide commentary all night about arts, politics, music, movies, trivia… Just a good place to hangout. The Club has a Coffeehouse atmosphere with lots of regulars - an SL version of Cheers - where everbody knows your name. Dully Machin and I are the Normy and Cliffy of Velvet!
